First released in 1978 and named after the French town of Chantilly, renowned for its lace and equestrian history with the bag’s rounded, saddle-like silhouette reflecting these traditional influences. MM (Moyen Modèle) size, crafted with the signature Monogram coated canvas and accented with natural Vachetta leather trim. Distinctive front flap with a buckle closure and an adjustable leather shoulder strap. interior lined with cross-grain leather or textile and includes a single main compartment with a zippered wall pocket. While currently discontinued in its original form, the Chantilly remains a staple of Louis Vuitton’s vintage catalog and was briefly reintroduced as a “New Model” (NM) in the 2018 Fall/Winter collection
