Dior Brown Vintage Patent Lady Dior
Launched in 1995 as the Chouchou under Gianfranco Ferré and renamed after Bernadette Chirac presented one to Diana, Princess of Wales, who was thereafter rarely photographed without it. This example is worked in high-gloss patent leather printed with an abstract rose motif in rust and burnt sienna, against contrasting black patent handles, gussets and detachable strap. Structured rectangular silhouette with squared corners and a flat base. Silver-tone hardware, with the hanging D-I-O-R letter charms at the side.
